Trinity Centre reopens its doors

Last updated: 8 November, 2021

Trinity Centre, Whitby are delighted to welcome their service users back to the centre on Flowergate.

The social activity centre for older people, including people living with dementia, had to close in March 2020. It adapted to provide remote delivery services, outdoor friendship groups and garden visits.

For the first time in 18 months, clients old and new have returned to the centre for afternoon sessions of games, crafts, cognitive puzzles and a good old chit chat.

The centre looks a little different as we are keeping everyone safe with social distancing and other infection prevention controls. But it’s wonderful to see everyone again and we look forward to welcoming more people over the coming weeks.
