Keeping older people connected

Last updated: 9 December, 2021

We help and support older people or people with mobility problems.

Whether it’s arranging trips in our minibus for shops in nearby towns like Truro and Penzance or day trips to places of interest like garden centres and other coastal towns. We provide door to door transport to take the hassle away.

We have a coffee morning once a month which allows people to get together for a chat and a cuppa. Every January we have a buffet lunch and every summer a cream tea at a local dairy.

All these activities promote a feeling that people are never alone. They give them confidence to leave their homes and mix with other residents. This improves their wellbeing and mental health.
