How one mum is helping others find activities for free

Last updated: 16 April, 2021

Find Your Activity is the brainchild of Susan Harvey – a mum of 2 who realised there was a need for something to make life easier when trying to find suitable activities for her family.

Susan was spending hours continuously doing this. She realised her friends were doing the same.

As a working mum Susan was an expert in effective time management. Spending valuable hours searching online just didn’t make sense. So findyouractivity.com was born.

There is a massive range of activities being run in local areas that many people are just not aware of. The information is too scattered, and providers don’t always have sufficient experience, or funds, to carry out their own marketing!

This is a free service. We’re looking at different options to offer help with marketing, but this is still a work in progress.

We recently applied to the government KickStarter scheme and were successful. This will help us employ up to 80 activity co-ordinators in the future. These co-ordinators will phone groups and input content for them. So we should see massive growth.
