The laptops enable senior cadets and adult staff members to deliver lectures to groups of cadets. They also allow all cadets to take exams that help them gain their BTEC National Qualification in Aviation Studies and support all cadets on their Duke of Edinburgh award scheme journey.
The computers have made a big difference to the Squadron and have helped all our cadets make a difference in the local community through their Duke of Edinburgh activities and personal leadership.
It’s essential that we all make the effort to support young people in our local communities. I have been involved with the Air Cadets for over 5 years and am constantly reminded of the difference that this organisation makes to young people enabling them to develop key skills that they will be able to use throughout the rest of their adult life.
