Called upon in times of crisis

Last updated: 2 September, 2020

We help people throughout Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire whenever we are called upon by the emergency services or the local councils.

We’re normally called out in cases such as flooding, fallen trees blocking roads or disruptions caused by heavy snow. During lockdown we were called upon to deliver food parcels to people who were isolating, to deliver hot meals, and do welfare checks in some areas.

We’ve helped to keep the spirits up of those isolating as they knew there were people there who were checking on them or providing food.

We're even called out to help look for missing people.
