Everyone should have food on their plate this Christmas 🎄
Community Fridges are spaces where people can share food, connect with others and learn new skills. Support them in 3 ways this festive season. Volunteer, share food or apply for funding to set up a fridge.

Volunteer at a Community Fridge
Community Fridges and other food groups are looking for people like you. Support them at their busiest time of year.
- make a real difference to other people’s lives
- help you connect with different people
- lift the spirits of everyone in your community
Share food with your local fridge
Community Fridges help communities to save and share food for free. Why not give a gift this Christmas? Share spare food with your local fridge.
Sharing food can:
- reduce waste
- encourage people to get together
- help people learn new cooking skills

Our partnership with Hubbub
We’re working with Hubbub to fund 250 new Community Fridges in the UK. TV presenter Dermot O’Leary and rapper Big Zuu are helping us to launch a fridge at the Afghanistan and Central Asian Community Centre in Feltham. Watch the video to see how the fridge has brought the community together.
I’ve been shopping for some wonderful people who have been isolating since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the last few weeks I've been taking them for walks and sharing my allotment fruit and veg with them. Healthy food is an essential during these difficult times.
Together let's make good things happen
